Pot Roast or Pot Roast Stew

Ingrediments:
Pot Roast - Chuck Roast
1 can beef broth or use water with 1 heaping tbs beef bullion
baby Onions
Carrots
Small potatoes (mixed blend)
2-3 sprigs of Rosemary & Thyme


Directions:
Brown onion halves in a thin layer of oil, then remove from pot. Cut the carrots into bite size stew bites as well as cutting the small potatoes in half. Cook up or (brown) the potatoes & carrots, then remove them from pot. Salt & Pepper the chuck roast then brown on both sides. Remove the meat from the pot and add beef broth. After about 1min re-add the chuck roast back into the pot. While cooking, add the vegetables back into the pot. Now add the rosemary and thyme. Cook in oven 275* for 3-4 hours. Or you can make Pot Roast Stew
Ingrediments:
Pot Roast - Chuck Roast
Lipton Onion Soup (comes with 2 packets in the box. Use only 1)
3/4-1 cup water
1/2 lb. baby Onions or 1/2 round sweet onion
1 lb. baby Carrots
1/2 carton of Mushrooms
1/2 Onions

Directions:
Take the onion soup and pre-stir with the water it in the measuring cup. Then cut up your pot roast in bite size chunks and put it in the slow cooker for 3hrs. Pour the water/onion soup mix onto the meat and stir it up. After about 15min before you're ready to eat, cook up the mushrooms & onions in either oil or butter. Micro-wave your carrots for 4min on high and add them into the slow cooker. Then after the remaining time has finished cooking, you're ready to go.

Cajun Pasta

Ingrediments:
olive oil
Chicken
Portugese sausage
Spam
Mushrooms
Onions
Red bell pepper
Green bell pepper
Cajun powder
Cayanne pepper
Onion powder
Paprika
Garlic powder
salt
pepper
Garlic cloves
Chow fun flat type noodles
2-3 cans Chicken broth
Cream 7 Parmesan cheese if desired.

Directions:
Heat up the olive oil in a stew pot and add diced chicken, portugese sausage, spam and stir till cooked.

Then add in 3 garlic cloves, sliced onions, sliced red & green bell pepper, mushrooms.
In a separate bowl dry mix together the cajun powder, cayanne pepper, onion powder, salt, pepper paprika, garlic powder, and dry mix together. Then add the dry mix onto the body of the meats & peppers.
Add in about a pound of spaghetti noodles and chicken broth enough to cover the whole meal.
Boil as you would boil regular spaghetti noodles if by themselves. This will blend all the flavors together.
Continue to stir and let simmer for about 10 minutes.
(Extra if desired you can stir in cream parmesan cheese in the mix or just add parmesan cheese after)

This meal serves 8. Finally a meal where no rice is required.

Stuffed bell peppers

Ingrediments:
Bell peppers
hamburger
spice for the hamburger (spice to flavor)
onions
rice
Kernel corn
Salsa
cheese

Directions:
Top off the bell peppers and gut them (they will serve as a bowl for the hamburger mix. Bake them in the oven at 350* for about 10min. Fry up the hamburger, mix in the onions, then spice, then rice, then corn, then salsa and keep stirring it all together top off with a little cheese. Then Take the mix and stuff it inside the bell pepper. top off with a little cheese then bake it in the oven at 350* for about 10 min.

Finally - Top off with sour cream and avocado.

My deserts list - Haupia, Fried Banana's, Peach Dumplings, Muggy's Cookies

MY DESERTS LIST:

Chocolate Haupia pie
Ingrediments:

1 9-in. unbaked pie crust
1 cup milk
1 can coconut milk (14 oz.)
1 tbsp. coconut extract
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1/2 cup cornstarch
7/8 cup chocolate (Dutch chocolate, or any chocolate with high cocoa butter content)
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/4 cup sugar

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Bake crust for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Set aside to cool.
3. In a medium saucepan, whisk together milk, coconut milk, coconut extract and 1 cup sugar.
4. In a separate bowl, dissolve the cornstarch in water.
5. After bringing coconut milk mixture to a boil, reduce to simmer and slowly whisk in the cornstarch mixture. Continue stirring over low heat until thickened—about three minutes. Divide evenly into two bowls.
6. In another bowl, microwave chocolate until melted.
7. Mix chocolate into one of the bowls of coconut pudding, then pour mixture into the pie crust, spread and let sit.
8. Pour the remaining bowl of coconut pudding on top of the chocolate-coconut pudding mixture and spread smooth being careful nut to mix the two layers. Refrigerate the pie for an hour or more.
9. Whip the heavy cream with 1/4 cup of sugar until stiff. Layer the whipped cream on the pie surface. Garnish with chocolate shavings.



Cinnamon fried banana's
Ingrediments:

Banana's
Coconut oil
honey
cinnamon,
brown sugar
Vanilla ice cream

Directions:
Cut your banana's in the desired shape
Heat up a pan using Coconut oil
Add in the coconut oil, honey, cinnamon, brown sugar,
Stir and blend then add the banana's
Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.
serve in a bowl of vanilla ice cream



Peach Dumplings
Ingrediments:
2 whole large peaches
2 8 oz cans crescent rolls
2 sticks butter
1-1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
cinnamon, to taste
1 12 oz can Mountain Dew

Directions:
Peel and pit peaches. Cut both peaches into 8 slices. Roll each peach slice in a crescent roll. Place in a 9 x 13 buttered pan.
Melt butter, then add sugar and barely stir. Add vanilla, stir, and pour entire mixture over peaches. Pour Mountain Dew around the edges of the pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Serve with ice cream, and spoon some of the sweet sauces from the pan over the top.

Ingrediments:
Flour
Butter
White & brown sugars
Eggs
Cocoa
Walnuts
Vanilla Flavoring,
Baking soda
salt

Directions:
Simply mix 'em all together and shape into cookies on a cookie pan and heat 'em at 350* for about 12min or until the edges of the cookies have browned. Then let 'em sit for about 30min out of the reach of the kids (or dad).


2) Or do it the easy way like Muggy Macadamia chocolate chip
Ingrediments:



Cut 'em up in pancake size shapes about 1/4" thick then put 'em in the freezer till you're ready to cook some up. when you thaw 'em out, shape 'em into cookie shapes then put chopped walnuts or chopped macadamia nuts on top of 'em and bake 'em according to the directions on the tub. Each slice makes about 10-12 cookies.

If I beg real hard, she makes 'em for me :o)

Utan pronounced U-tahn

Our Utan is cooked Hawaiian style, without bitter melon or other ingrediments. Here is the list of all we put into it.

Ingrediments:
Belly pork with anykine pork, must have belly fat.
Long Egg plant
Long squash
Long beans (green beans)
Ginger root
1/2 Onion
1 can chicken broth
1 whole large tomatoe (or 2 smaller ones)


Directions: how fo cook
cut pork into edible bites, then begin cooking on medium high heat, into a pot while preparing the other items. (Make certain that pork is well cooked before adding vegetables)
cut egg plant into edible chunks
cut long squash into edible chunks
cut long beans
Cut off about a 2" chunk of ginger root and peel off old skin. Then cut into 1/8" wedges and add to the cooking pork
Dice up onion and add to the cooking pork
Dice up tomatoe and add to the cooking pork
Cut up long beans into 2" long
Add chicken broth & 1/2 can water
Let the long beans cook for about 10 minutes till edible then
Add all the remaining vegetables
Cook for another 10 minutes to allow all the flavors to blend.

Always serve with rice.
Serves about 6 adults

Side Street Pork Chops

Ingrediments:
2 tablespoons garlic salt
2 tablespoons pepper
1-1/3 cup flour
2/3 cup cornstarch
4 7-ounce fresh island pork chops, about 1-1/2 inches thick
1 cup cottonseed oil

Directions:
Combine garlic salt, pepper, flour and cornstarch.
Coat chops well in the mixture. Heat oil in a skillet.
Fry chops about 10 minutes, turning frequently until browned.
Cut meat from the bones and slice the chops into bite-sized pieces.
Serve over shredded cabbage with ketchup on the side.
Include bones for gnawing.

Serves 4.

Paniolo style Bar-B-Q hamburgers

Ingrediments:
Hamburger - ʻIʻo pipi i wili ʻia
Bacon - ʻIʻo puaʻa uahi or Pekona
Onions - ʻAkaʻakai
Chili - Kili
Mushrooms - Kūkaelio
Cheese - Waiūpaʻa
Bell pepper - Nīoi pūhaʻuhaʻu
Mashed potatoes - ʻUala kahiki palahē
Butter - Waiūpaka


Directions:
Separately you can cook up the onions, mushrooms, bell pepper, chili and whatever else ingrediments you want to use as a hamburger stuffer.
Take a full can of your favorite cold beer (it will be used as a mold later on)
Take 1/2 lb to 3/4 lb of hamburger and form into a ball
Take the full can of cold beer and smash in the center of the hamburger and then mold the hamburger around the can, but make sure you don't press the can of beer so hard into the hamburger. You need to leave about a 1/4" bottom to the hamburger
Take about 3 strips of bacon and wrap around the hamburger to lock it in place
Now very carefully, remove the cold can of beer and put it back into the cooler. You will use it later on.
Inside the mold put any cooked ingrediments that you have already pre-cooked.
Sprinkle cheese on top of the cooked ingrediments.
Put the hamburger mold onto a bar-b-q grill for about an hour.
Drink the beer mold and whatever else beer is available during that hour
Remove the hamburger mold and place on a plate and surround the mold with your mashed potatoes.
Put dabs of butter or any gravy you want on top of the mashed potatoes.
Pau. Dinner is ready to eat.

This meal serves 2-3 humans.
